Tune Up Time

Good morning, lovelies! So happy it's finally Thursday. It's been such a busy week and for a few days there it was seeming like the week would never end but now I finally see the end of the tunnel.

These transitional weeks between summer and fall are the weeks that I like to get myself back into shape. No I'm not talking about working out, although that will be happening in the very near future. I'm talking about my beauty regimine. After exposing my hair and skin and nails to all of the elements that I love so very much but are so very bad for you {the sun, sea and sand}, it's time for the much needed beauty tune up.

I already got my hair cut last night and it looks so much healthier. Next up is some spa time. A facial and body scrub are definitely in order. And I'll still be getting my regular manis and pedis but now is the time to change it up and move on over to fall color territory. And I already picked up a few new babies Chanel Graphite, Dragon (not a new shade but I'm so loving it!) & Blue Rebel and Essie Carry On & Power Clutch. Love them all!

What do you all do to get in beauty shape for fall?

Oh every woman needs a spa time alone or better yet with a bff...
Enjoy your day of pampering.

Love the shoes image ♥

I love the feeling after a hair cut, so can completely relate! All that pampering sounds wonderful and those Essie colours are so pretty! Only one day till the weekend! xx

Sounds so wonderful! We are all in need of these little luxuries!

A summer at the beach does do a number on your hair. A good deep conditioner like morroccan oil helps. Sometimes they are heavy on my hair so I'll just use it on the ends. Love that Chanel shade too! xo

It's nothing like a hair cut to make me feel a completely new person. Which reminds me, a hair style change is in order for me too, so I'll be making my appointment at my hair-dresser's these days. :)

I am so excited about fall polishes, I missed all the dark colors!

great plan! I'm getting a haircut next week; I'll cut off those summer ends. I'm good in the nail polish department because dark shades just don't fit me; I get too finger conscious with them! (Is that even a phrase?!!). But I'm in need of a new powder and eye shadow and new shoes ;-)

PS. The photos in yesterday's post are fabulous!

LOVE those shoes! They are fantastic!!

I'm in much need for a trim, I haven't had one since the spring and the summer has been harsh on my hair. It definitely needs the trim, and maybe a richer color for fall! I'm already thinking about boots shopping! Plus we are having a wicked coldfront this week in the Midwest so I'm really feeling fall!

I definitely need some TLC to my skin. My face... oh dear. It's a little worse for wear after being out in the sun all day long, no matter the sunscreen I wear.

Oh how lovely! It is probably one of the best luxuries.

I know what you mean, a transition to Fall also comes with new haircuts or colors, good skin care for colder days and of coursssse the darker nail polishes!! My favorite still is rouge noir. Perfection. Enjoy your new colors and haircut :)

i've got a closet purge on my list of things to do. and i've never done it before, but lately i've been considering a cleanse. it'll be neat to keep up with it with each change of season

Oh I hear ya...so need to do some 'me' care soon- I just did the hair and am thinking a facial is definitely in order...enjoy!!

I am starting by going to get my hair done tomorrow to get a more fall look - and yes, I did take the day off :) I also like to go get new nail polish colors that are more suited for the fall. I enjoy those thigns so it helps me deal with the seasons changing - aka just getting cold.
Much love,
B
