Good morning, sweets! Well here we are. A day before Friday. At last! I'm so wishing this week away.
I think it's this time of year but I'm really longing for a little break. I keep telling J that I need a vacation. Paris would do. Or an extra day off or something. Or even a weekend that I can stay at home for two days in row. I just need some peace. I'm yearning for something and even though the winter hasn't been bad, I'm just wishing it away. My eyes are desperate for prettiness and I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming again.
Luckily there's Valentine's Day next week to look forward to. And also a three day weekend the following weekend that I've refused make plans during. I secretly have been holding it aside for an impromptu vacation somewhere {hint, hint J ;)} I'm doubting that will happen but at least the three days will still be all ours.
Am I alone here? Or are you all yearning for something these?

Oh Paris and pink, I love this! I think almost everyone has Paris on their minds these days and spring blossoms too. I know I do.
But now in my home it's coffee and freshly baked muffins, which is also wonderful ;-)

You had me at Paris. Although there hasn't been a lot of snow this Winter I am sick of the cold. Find myself dreaming about tropical beaches, lazy river pools, and frozen concoctions. xo

Love the photos and that is one of my favorite colors of pink! So romantic! You should spend a couple nights at a bed and breakfast! I did that with my now fiance and it was heavenly! We hung out in our room the majority of the time playing cards and watching tv shows and drinking wine! Seriously perfect and refreshing!

I so agree....I need some color in my life. Things look so drab outside. And my inside is a bit of a mess with our renovation.
We're heading west to go skiing next weekend and I'm hosting a bday party for my husband with 20 close friends. So, at least I have those distractions to get me through February!!

I have been yearning for a break/vacation/getaway/practically anything for a very long time. Unfortunately it looks like it will be months before I have an opportunity for anything along those lines. Ahhh.. Paris. That sounds so perfect.

Yes, I think everyone is itching for a vacation! It's the first time in a long time J and I don't have our "big vacation of the year" planned. Weekend getaways are nice though - hope you can squeeze one of those in!
I feel exactly the same about a vacay! I was driving this morning and saw the flyaway that goes to LAX and I wanted to pull over and just get on it! xx

I am always dreaming about Paris. I just cancelled my trip to FL. I'm pretty sad about it, but that's the way it worked out.
I would LOVE to see some beautiful flowers, green grass and listen to the birds singing. Soon enough!

OH I so agree with you! I just dream of long relaxing days together with Eric with absolutely nothing by open road/ocean/sky/countryside (any will do:) in our vision! Something that always fills my daydreams, ever since returning from our big adventures in Rome. These images are just gorgeous and leave me longing to be surrounded by beauty as well! ♥

Tulips are so delicate, romantic and feminine. Along with hydrangeas, they're my favourite.
