It's been brutally cold here in NY the past few days. So cold that I don't even like to leave my bed, nevermind the apartment! But since I really have no choice in the matter, I've been relying on my toasty staples to keep me warm while braving the elements, layers upon layers of knitwear and a hot cup of coffee in hand.
How are you all staying toasty these days?

In some areas in Belgium this night was the coldest one we've had this winter. But I can't complain; winter hasn't really arrived here at all.
But today I'm in bed with my daughter, who has a fever and a cold. It's nice to stay in bed knowing that it's a bit cold outside.
Enjoy your day and those layers!
It's sunny but so cold here as well my dear!! That's why I need those prettyyyyyyy knits from your post!!:) Have a beautiful day!!

Loving all this coziness..yumm. Yes cold cold cold, and at least we should have some snow to show for it! I have been layering like crazy, used all my scarves this season and having lots of coffee and tea with me at all times!
I'm sipping black tea with ginger and a drop of frsh lime juice to keep me warm on this fearfully cold day here in Europe;-)
It's sunny and warm here in Dakar :) Hope your week is fantastic!
My daughter was in NYC this past weekend for her friend's sweet 16th and she said it was brutal walking around, it was so cold. Stay warm, Dawn!! I warm my car up in the garage and put on my warmest coat. xo
It's been very cold here too, but not as cold as in other winters. Plus, we still haven't seen any snow in Bucharest this winter. Have a wonderful day, Dawn! And stay warm. xo

Beautiful post! :) Ohhhh man Dawn.... that doesn't sound too delightful at all, but a great reason to stay in bed! It's not as bad in Charlotte, but still a bit chilly. I've been counting on my extra comfy circle scarfs that put like 20 lbs on my upper body but it's sooooo worth it! Happy Tuesday! xo
It's cold here too, the wind is like ice needles. Am keeping wrapped up and drinking hot tea!! Didn't want to get out of bed today!! Keep warm and think of spring ;) xox
It's absolutely freezing here in London today! I bundled up like a snowman and still lost all feeling in my extremities! I have got the heater on full and am refusing to move away from it! Your inspiration photos make me want to crawl up in bed with a hot drink and thick wool socks!
with lots of layers, its so cold here in London too, even in the office! So hard to get up from bed in the morning!!
Ohh this looks so cozy! Just where I want to be this morning!
I'm layering up in layers of knits, hats, and scarves... then I'm just trying to count down the days until spring is here! Stay warm, Sweetie!

Mmmm, love those toasty-looking knits! I love to bundle up in layers and layers on days like this. We have a "wintry mix" falling today and I'm clinging to my coffee mug to warm my hands, wrapped in a scarf indoors, and cozy in leggings & SmartWool socks - the ultimate socks for staying warm! Stay toasty, sweets! xoxo
I'm loving these cozy images! I wish I could stay tucked in at home today : )
Mmmm these picture are SO snuggly and they have me wishing that I was all tucked up in bed in cozy knits as opposed to a little damp from my freezing commute, in my desk chair!
That bed looks so inviting! I've been avoiding going out unless I have to and when I do it feels like it takes forever to get dressed cause of all the layers. The key to staying warm for me is keeping my extremities covered. Enjoy the balmy weather today :)
I want the scarf!!
lots and lots of layers and hot chocolate!
Dawn this looks so cozy.
Have a great day.
Keep warm.
aww I love the knitty goodness! It HAS been quite cold lately here, but at least it's better than last NYC Winter!
Triple yes to the knitwear bed! So much cozier than silk sheets.
i can't relate but hope you stay nice and warm up there!
I will not leave the house without a hot cup of coffee or tea to help keep my hands warm. I also love that my car heats up fast and has heated seats - so that is helping me stay warm as I drive into work in the bitter cold mornings! And layers are always key.
Much love,
B
I'm feeling a little toastier looking at these pics, but in reality it's still bloody freezin'!
I hate the cold...but lucky for me my man offers the best cuddles and doubles for a heater!

It's so cold it hurts my eyes to walk outside! But our heater makes out apartment a sauna so not much of a happy medium. Let's do dinner next week!
My stay warm strategy is a combo of hibernation, hot coffee and warm layers.
It's cold here in San Diego too. Although I'm guessing not like New York. Ha. Continue to stay toasty Dawn!
having fires and wearing my scarf around the house is how i keep toasty! i could really go for a latte right now..... :)
great photos! as for us we are enjoying the sun, summer days, and time at the pool.
You might kill me for saying this but I'm kind of over the 70 degree weather in California. I really want the opportunity to get cozy!
It's gotten cold in SoCal suddenly too. Don't laugh, but our house is always colder than outside (like 62 degrees in general). I'm dependent on my fuzzy bootie slippers and lots of scarves!

Really cold here in Spain too. Calls for hot chocolate, comfort cooking, cashmere throws on my sofa and not moving from my house.......if only ;-)
too cold here too!

That is why I like to go somewhere warm, especially this time of year.
Like you a hot cup of coffee in one hand while layered up. It doesn't hurt to have an adorable puppy prancing in the snow besides you, sure to take your mind off the cold.
We are experiencing heat wave conditions. I adore this special place you have created, thanks ever so much for sharing. I am loving the cable blanket. I will follow on my way out. Take Care! Cheers SpecialK XoXo
that is so funny about the revlon line. i loved those products but they were short-lived :( i remember i got a few from the shoot but eventually ran out and by then the line was gone.
Beautiful photos:)I adore knitwear:)
So cozy!!! Love the inspiration today!

DC is miserable too! Today wasn't as cold but rainy and gray :( UGH! I could stay in that bed for days! xo
I must say that I don't envy you right now, Dawn. Sounds way too cold. Love the kitted pillows though! :)

mmmm it makes me want to sip tea and snuggle in bed :) xx Golden White Décor
Hi Dawn, The knit bedding looks just the thing. It's only starting to get cold here so we haven't had to bundle up much. They are predicting snow tonight so will get a chance to pull out the woolies tomorrow.
Stay warm!

Mmm, these photos look so yummy Dawn! It sounds like you are staying warm and cozy though despite the cold. I think you're handling it just right!

This morning when it was 10 degrees, these pictures would have sent me back to bed. At the moment it's 30 degrees and the effect is quite different! Hope you're having a great week Dawn!
My secret weapon are cashmere leggings (worn under tracksuit bottoms), and two cashmere sweaters on top of each other. Keeps me toasty :)
xoxo
Please let that be me in the first photo! ~L
