Good Monday morning, lovelies! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun and exciting? Mine was wonderful, as beach weekends always are. My family came out and we celebrated birthdays and had a fabulous time.
And now the time has come to leave the beach bum look behind and attempt to look a little presentable. During the weekends at the beach I am so incredibly casual, the total opposite of the usual me. I never wear makeup, dress in my beach attire and since I get beach hair, I don't even attempt to blow it straight and {ssshhh} I don't even wash my hair every day. Something that is completely unheard of in my everyday life.
I do love the relaxed, effortlessness of my weekends but being a girlie girl at heart I admit that I am pretty excited to primp up today.

Happy Thursday, lovelies! The summer seems to be flying by, doesn't it? I can't believe it's the end of July already. Where does time go?
Which reminds me that I need to book my next vacation. We own a timeshare in St. Thomas but we waited too long to book and now it's sold out so we're currently exploring some other options. The number one contender so far seems to be Majorca. We've always wanted to go but have never gotten around to it. I have family and friends who have been and loved it. The resort has an amazing spa and I'm told I'm going to have a hard time doing anything else but spa-ing!
Have any of you ever been to Majorca? If you have I'd love to know what you think of it. We have to book soon before we're out of luck!

Good morning, lovelies! Hope you're all having a wonderful week. I'm getting back into the swing of things after a long weekend at the beach. I've been so enjoying my summer of fun in the sun but I admit that I am missing seeing some of the other gems of the season. The gorgeous greenery and beautiful flowers that are in bloom.
Most of my weekends have been spent seeing sand and sea but I decided that one of the weekends that I'm not scheduled to be at the beach house I am going to head to the arboretum to take in all of the gorgeouness it has to offer. I just love spending time there amongst all of the beautiful flowers, magnificent trees and gorgeous grounds. We actually even have a bench in memory of my grandfather there. It's really such a lovely, peaceful and beautiful place.
Another beautiful place that I hope to visit one day is the French Riviera. The lucky and fabulous Christel of Captivated by Image is off vacationing there right now and I'm filling in for her today. Good morning, lovelies! How are you all doing today? I'm having a wonderful day and it also happens to be my birthday so it's an extra special good day in my book. Yes, I'm one of those people that absolutely loves her bday. I would celebrate the whole month if I could. And it's not for the attention or gifts or anything like that. I just like to have a good time and it's the perfect excuse to have one.
Off to work now followed by dinner tonight. Not sure where yet. As usual, J is keeping me in suspense till the last minute. I'm sure it will be somewhere amazing though. Lucky for me J has great taste :)
